DRIVER BIOGRAPHY
Having dabbled with motorcross in his teenage years, with limited success, Ben progressed into getting his licence in 2004/05 through the HQ's.
Ben has been racing in the Yokohama V8 Utes for the past few seasons, with numerous Top Tens and a race win in 2007, however, he has had limited results due to clashes in schedules preventing him from competing in full seasons.
Currently a Board Member for the Yokohama V8 Ute Series (Ford), Ben spearheaded the racing debut of the Ford XR8 FG Ute through Sieders Racing Team at the 2010 Bathurst 12 Hour.

DRIVER Q. & A.
| Playstation, Nintendo or X-Box - and favourite game: |
Have two daughters - no time! |
| What do your friends and family (and kids, if applicable) think of your chosen profession? |
Wish it was a profession, when I start getting paid it will be a profession, but the chances of that are as much as Barrel Panchos not eating all the pies - until then it's a hobby. |
| Who are your major team sponsors and do they have any personal significance to you? |
Storage King and Wilson Fabrics are both on-board for a another season. They are both special because they enable me to race in a fantastic category like V8 Utes and in return we give them great exposure all over Australia |
| Who taught you to drive? Describe the experience. |
Learnt growing up in the country around the paddocks. Both mum and dad taught me but do not have any traumatic memories. |
| Who do you see as a main rival? |
I guess whoever is in front of me! |
| Favourite Music: |
Whatever is playing on the radio, not fussy |
| Can you cook? If so, what is your speciality? |
Yes - roast lamb as my kiwi wife thinks it is amusing not to cook my favourite meal. |
| How do you keep fit? |
Compete regularly in triathlons when I can. Usually do a lot of running in Centennial Park in Sydney. |
| Favourite TV Show: |
Seinfeld |
| What is the significance of your helmet design? |
My helmet is brand new and therefore white. When I can get a podium result this season I will spoil myself with an expensive design like the rest of the boys, until then it won't make my lap times any faster! |
| Favourite Actor: |
Mel Gibson |
| Describe your most memorable accident: |
QR last year - sandwiched between two utes in turn 3 after J.Van Twest thought he could pass half the field under brakes. |
